For Londoners, their city is inspiring, imposing, infuriating even and defined not just by landmarks or statistics, but people. So when you find a genuine connection with another person in a city of 8.7 million it is to be cherished. It may seem that everyone is busy in their own little worlds, glued to their phones swiping left but strip back the British reserve and you’ll find we love nothing more than finding another person with which to share that world.
