We don’t gift celebrities that often but when we do we want to make sure they’re the real deal. Every time I’ve crossed paths with Angie Kent (a fellow inner westie) and this years Australian Bachelorette, she has been exactly as she comes across on screen. She’s just a naturally smart, funny and down to earth chick. Before she joined the madness that is the bachelorette mansion I thought I’d send her some Ms. Kensington lingerie and a bespoke love letter to help her feel inspired and confident on the journey to find love.
After all the greatest love affair a woman can have is with herself.
And bless her cotton socks, even at the height of the Bachelorette media frenzy Angie reached out to tell me that she has been loving wearing her London Print robe to get her make up done every day in the mansion. It's been a bit strange to watch the antics on screen developing each week while also DMing the star of the show but I guess the very point of reality TV is to blur those lines. Here's some pics of Angie behind the scenes.

Needless to say we think Angie is fantastic and we love that she genuinely loves her Ms. Kensington pieces enough to wear them on set. We can't wait to see what happens on the show and remember Angie - those chaps are damn lucky!
The bush fire situation happening here in Australia right now is devastating. It is hard not to know someone who has been affected. It is hard to watch rolling footage of what looks like some kind of futuristic apocalypse and not feel utterly heartbroken for the people, animals and land affected. Now is not the time to talk about fashion or try and selfishly promote a business while others are suffering. It is the time to donate, help and heal however possible.

There isn’t a planet B. Fashion is meant to be forward thinking and ahead of the curve and yet it is one of the most heavily polluting industries contributing to #climatechange. We must stay committed to working towards better practices for people and the planet.
